2012 North American International Auto Show
It’s practically a tradition that the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is accompanied by the worst winter weather. The second week of January at the Detroit rarely is a fun place, but this year’s event was preceded by unseasonably warm and sunny weather. All global warming thoughts aside, seems to indicate a subtle change in the climate of the automotive industry as well.
Several years of economic distress (and more than a few casualties) had left the auto industry be careful; leave wild that characterized past auto shows are long gone. In its place there is a pragmatic realism–but for 2012, a realistic outlook, too optimistic. In addition to upcoming product useful refinement of existing vehicles, also saw the debut of several Detroit good concept car, pointed out that the industry has been scaled back in the wildest flights of fancy, but it has not forgotten how to dream.

2013 Ford Fusion: Ford unveils all-new mid-size fusion sedan in Detroit. The redesign took many styling cues with complete new focus and festivals. This also happens to look a lot like a miniature Aston Martin, although this is probably just a coincidence. Three new engines offered: 1.6 and 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost Ford with turbocharging system, and the Fusion Hybrid new lithium-ion battery that help to improve the fuel economy to 40 city/45 highway. As with the Taurus prior to that, Ford has pushed technology quotient, adding automatic start-stop system, available adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping technology, blind spot parking notifications and active help.
2013 Dodge Dart: Dodge hoped to follow in the footsteps, the subcompact Chevy lineup recently underwent a name change in the process of morphing of also-ran to a competitor. Dodge’s new Dart has one advantage that Chevy Cruze is not; the nameplate is familiar and classic. All-new Dart’s unlike the latter, which was sold in 1976. Dodge’s new subcompact have Alfa Romeo DNA, and a choice of four cylinder engines ranging from 160 185 horsepower. Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions were offered. The premium was placeed on customization, with a variety of options and even a reconfigurable instrument panel. Dodge Announces MSRP $ 15,995 when Dart goes on sale later this year.
